188.579 MWp of new solar capacity were added in June 2014 the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) informed. Total German PV capacity eligible for support under the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) amounted to 36,708 MWp at the end of June. July figures are not yet available.
New capacity in June 2014 was lower than in June 2013 when 309.240 MWp were added and certainly lower than in June 2012 that saw capacity additions of 1,790.921 MWp.
Based on the information published by BNetzA (please note that figures may subsequently be corrected upon new information without leading to a new publication of the monthly figures), the June 2014 capacity additions lead to the following table of German PV capacity eligible for financial support pursuant to the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG).
