The Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) has published efficiency factors for gas grid operators that form part of the complex calculation of the revenue caps for gas grid charges of gas grid operators pursuant to the Incentive Regulation Ordinance (ARegV) for the second regulation period that started on 1 January 2013.
BNetzA published the factors for gas transmission system and gas distribution system operators regulated by the agency as well as local gas distribution operators for which the states in which they are located are responsible. Some cases are still pending, BNetzA pointed out.
All gas transmission system operators have an efficiency factor of 100%, except for terranets BW that has an efficiency factor of 95%. With 81.95% the gas distribution system operator Stadtwerke Mainz Netz GmbH has the lowest efficiency factor. In total 18 out of 42 gas distribution system operators have an efficiency factor of 100%.
