With 301 Watt per capita Germany has the highest installed photovoltaics capacity per capita, Zurich-based SolarSuperState Association informed.
Germany is followed by the Vatican City (267 Watt per capita) and Italy (210 Watt per capita). Spain ranks seventh (93 Watt per capita), the United States twenty-fifth (14 Watt per capita) and China thirty-fifth (2 Watt per capita).
The table for wind power per capita is led by Denmark (706 Watt per capita), followed by Spain (459 Watt per capita) and Portugal (387 Watt per capita). With 355 Watt per capita Ireland and Germany share the fourth place.
